From WinLIMS

The number of concurrent users has the most influence on the amount of memory that is required for the web server. It is highly doubtful that WinLIMS.NET will be the only application using the web server, so it is the combination of all applications that will influence the amount of memory that is required for the web server. Just note that web applications are optimized by maximizing the amount of memory on the server, so the more memory the better.

Should the web server be dedicated to the WinLIMS.NET application, 8 GB of RAM will be more than adequate for a typical 20 concurrent user system.

It is always best to follow the general rule; "You can never have too much memory." and with the lowering cost of hardware, it is far less expensive to add memory to your system to maintain good performance than it is to ever have system slowdown due to a few dollar's worth of memory.
